Mosaic Kits

Mosaic kits are an easy and fun way to get started into mosaics.
As something new we now have mirror kits in for a decorative and almost instant result. They come in 4 different pallets and they do not require any tile cutting. The mirror kits can also be made by children and they just love to make them and get something pretty and personalised for their bedroom.
The Martin Cheek kits are “a course in a kit” and will start you off really well or you can just enjoy making a design you know is going to look great, everything is worked out for you, right size, right amounts etc.
All the mirror kits and the Martin Cheek kits in Series 1 and 2 are made from beautifully coloured glass tiles with the Chinese Vitreous Glass, JJ Crystal, as the basic material. Particular to Martin’s style, the designs are peppered with specialty tesserae, which make these mosaic kits unique: gold veined vitreous glass from Bisazza, Venetian hand made gold leaf smalti and / or Venetian handmade glass beads (millefiori).
The advanced kits are made with Bisazza tiles.

Our kits are packed in attractive boxes that contain everything needed to make up the mosaic image. However, for the kits that require tile cutting (all but the mirror kits) you also need air of mosaic nippers, wheeled or side-biters, to complete the project. These are supplied “on the side” since that investment will last for years.

The advanced kits are made with premium quality Italian Vitreous Glass from Bisazza as the basic material. They are supplied with either a wrought iron table or with mesh and in cardboard packaging. To keep the shipping cost down they come without the tile adhesive. Also we assume that the advanced mosaic maker already stocks tile adhesive for indoor or outdoor use.

The kits are for indoor use only / tempered, dry environment. The Martin Cheek kits require tile cutting and grouting and are not suitable for children.
